EP Real Estate combines functionality, aesthetics, and greenery in the new modern Hagibor headquarters

Our Jungle Interiors team won the tender together with S.H.S Architekti, with whom we have already completed several projects. The aim of the project was to bring more life into the interior and create colourful greenery that does not look uniform but naturally complements the character and layout of the interior. We therefore opted for smaller groupings and carefully considered arrangements of plants of various heights, combining both upright and hanging species. The key was to select plants that "communicate" with each other—that is, they have the same light and watering requirements. We had previously worked on several floors in the building where another firm, “CNC”, operates which gave us a perfect idea of those particular  lighting conditions and allowed us to tailor the selection of plants precisely to the space.

Greenery as a natural dividing element

Striking individual plants and greenery integrated directly into the furniture walls between desks help to visually separate individual workstations while also making the spaces more private and pleasant. Another striking element is the large, low containers with various plantings, which add a lively dynamic to the office space with seating furniture.

Choosing plants with character

When selecting plants, we emphasized not only their appearance, but also their durability and ability to thrive in an office environment.

• Strelitzia nicolai – this exotic plant with large fan-shaped leaves brings a feeling of generosity to the interior and evokes a Mediterranean atmosphere.
• Ficus lyrata – the popular "fiddle-leaf fig" with distinctive leaves has become a striking individual plant that immediately attracts attention.
• Aglaonema Greenlight and Aglaonema Cutlass – these decorative species stand out with their elegant leaf patterns and are also very tolerant of indoor environments.
• Philodendron selloum Hope – with its deeply cut leaves, it brings dynamism and a tropical touch.
• Howea forsteriana (Kentia palm) – a timeless palm that evokes a sense of calm and relaxation, while also looking impressive in a corporate interior.
• Other species such as Dracaena Riki, Dracaena Ulises vertakt, Scindapsus, and Philodendron narrow complete the overall composition and add diversity to the space.

Designer planters as part of the concept

The “Terra Cotta Couple Extra” planters, handmade from high-quality fired clay with a naturally matte surface in brick orange, emphasize the modern character of the offices while creating a subtle contrast to the greenery.

Another type used is the “ Circulum Natural Bowl Cedar Grey”. This is a stylish plant pot in the shape of a low container, made of composite – glass fiber reinforced plastic, which is strong, lightweight, and resistant to UV radiation and damage. The elegant appearance is complemented by a subtle matte finish and a distinctive design consisting of sliding circular rings.

Cooperation and implementation

The entire project was created thanks to close cooperation with architect Ing. Arch. Dominika Rošetzská and our sales representative and implementation supervisor Magdaléna, who ensured that the final installation precisely matched the architectural design and the client's needs. At the same time, in cooperation with our Team Leader, Tereza, who handled the selection of plants and all technical aspects of the installation.

The new “EP Real Estate” offices in Hagibor are a prime example of how modern architecture can be combined with living greenery, which not only enhances the aesthetics of the space but also promotes the well-being and productivity of employees.

The “EP Real Estate” project shows how greenery can be a fully-fledged architectural element that underlines the concept of the space while increasing its interior value.
